Day 5

Point to ponder: Life is a test and a trust

Verse to remember: “Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won’t be faithful in large ones” Luke 16:10

Question to consider: What has happened to me recently that I now realize was a test from God? What are the greatest matters God has entrusted to me?

Something big that happened in my life that I now realize was a test would have to be when I walked away from the man I loved. I loved him to death but there was a lot of things that just was not good in are relationship. He was a very jealous type and he wasn’t really serious about God. He wasn’t like a hater with God but he wasn’t to big on God. He was basically a Luke warm Christian. I did not like that part about him and I should have read the signs before going into the relationship. I realize it was a test now though because when I was with him I was living in sin daily. He was not really dedicating his life to God causing me to drift away from God myself. So this was a test of my faith because while I was in the relationship I was feeling distant from God but I still didn’t want to leave my love. I realize now though that because I left him God is sending more blessing in my life then ever. Not because he was a awful person or anything like that but because Instead of choosing my worldly flesh wants I chose to leave him and pick God. It was a hard decision to make but Knowing Gods love and his face helped me to truly go through with the plan because HE IS GREATER THEN ANYTHING ON THIS EARTH. Some of the matters God has entrusted in me would be to spread the gospel and live for his glory this is very important for us Christians because being a Christian is not about us but all about HIM. He is the creator and the all mighty God so he deserves the praise and the worship !!!!
